Welcome to Black Girl Burn Out with Kelley. Today I want to talk to you about releasing the need to maintain a constant “I’m busy” mentality. Opting into rest and reflection is necessary to achieve a healthy work-life balance. Black Women often feel compelled to always be on go, go, go mode. In our society, resting is commonly associated with laziness. However, this is a false sentiment. I will cover four ways to prioritize rest in your life.
