In this episode, host Kelley Bonner officially rings the alarm to let everyone know that Black Girl Burnout is officially back with Season 2. While the podcast release frequency (3 days per week) and the foundational elements of the Black Girl Burnout podcast will remain the same, Kelley will be introducing some new flair this season. Once a month, Kelley will interview impactful and exciting Black Women. Based on your amazing feedback, we know that many of you really enjoyed the interview with Dr. Jeanette Davis. We have a lineup of incredible women already set to share their stories. This season we are all about building a community of black women working towards healing and finding ways to connect beyond the podcast.
The Black Girl Burnout podcast is dedicated to helping black women learn how to opt-out of the mentality of struggle while also learning how to opt-into the life of joy, abundance, and good health, which is their birthright. Burnout can manifest in a variety of ways, including feelings of exhaustion, cynicism, and a lack of accomplishment. It is totally ok if you are experiencing more than one of the feelings at the same time. Being able to fully align with your truth is a significant sign of strength. The ultimate goal of the podcast is to help women achieve Opting Out of Struggle.
