Meet Kelley

In this episode host Kelley Bonner discusses the importance of implementing a healthy โ€œSelf-Careโ€ plan in your life. Many of us have been trained to believe that self-care or doing something nice for yourself is selfish. However, that simply is not true. Kelley covers 5 pillars of self-care. By creating plans that allow you to feel joy in your heart, soul, mind, body, and at work, you will release so many hidden emotions that no longer serve you. If you are struggling with guilt associated with doing nice things for yourself, or taking time to yourself, this episode is for you. Choose to opt into soft living today. Stay tuned til the end, to learn more about today’s homework assignment. You will be so glad that you did ๐Ÿ™‚

The Black Girl Burnout podcast is dedicated to helping black women learn how to opt-out of the mentality of struggle while also learning how to opt-into the life of joy, abundance, and good health, which is their birthright. Burnout can manifest in a variety of ways, including feelings of exhaustion, cynicism, and a lack of accomplishment. It is totally ok if you are experiencing more than one of the feelings at the same time. Being able to fully align with your truth is a significant sign of strength. The ultimate goal of the podcast is to help women achieve Opting Out of Struggle.

Did you know that self-care doesnโ€™t just mean getting a message, a manicure, or a facial? Did you know that soft living does not mean lazy living? Self-care can be as simple as taking a few uninterrupted minutes to yourself to enjoy peace of mind. By working through the exercises that Kelley suggests, you will be able to release the things that are holding you back from fully experiencing the self-care that you deserve.  Today is the day to embrace self-care, soft living, and abundance.
