Meet Kelley

In this episode, host Kelley Bonner asks an important question, “Are You Tired?” Many black women have grown up in environments where extreme exhaustion is the norm. Watching mothers and grandmothers work, and work without break is a reality. However, it is time to break free from this belief. It is possible to release feeling constantly exhausted from your life, even if you have never seen an example of going from exhausted to energized in your life. This episode is for you if, you have seen or personally experienced the cycle of exhaustion and are determined to break this generational behavior. Isn’t it time for Energized and Joyful to reign in your life? Stay tuned til the end, to learn more about today’s homework assignment. You will be so glad that you did πŸ™‚

The Black Girl Burnout podcast is dedicated to helping black women learn how to opt-out of the mentality of struggle while also learning how to opt-into the life of joy, abundance, and good health, which is their birthright. Burnout can manifest in a variety of ways, including feelings of exhaustion, cynicism, and a lack of accomplishment. It is totally ok if you are experiencing more than one of the feelings at the same time. Being able to fully align with your truth is a significant sign of strength. The ultimate goal of the podcast is to help women achieve Opting Out of Struggle.

What are the reasons behind β€œwhy” you are exhausted? Have you taken the time to evaluate all of the things that may be contributing to the reasons why you feel exhausted? Did you know that setting healthy boundaries can contribute to releasing layers of exhaustion? By working through the exercises that Kelley suggests, you will be able to release the things that are holding you back from fully experiencing the joyful and energized life that you deserve. Today is the day to transform your life from exhausted to energized!
