EPISODE SUMMARY

In this episode, host Kelley Bonner discusses the power of Opting Into The Lessons of Our Ancestors. In America, it is so common to be raised in the mindset that living a life of struggle is normal.  However, this podcast is all about dispelling that myth. As black women, our birthright includes Joy and Abundance. Even though we have been intentionally disconnected from the true clarity of our lineage, we remain connected to the art, stories, and inventions of our ancestors.  This episode is for you if you are ready to accept that you have Joy in your DNA. Stay tuned til the end, to learn more about today’s homework assignment. You will be so glad that you did πŸ™‚

The Black Girl Burnout podcast is dedicated to helping black women learn how to opt-out of the mentality of struggle while also learning how to opt-into the life of joy, abundance, and good health, which is their birthright. Burnout can manifest in a variety of ways, including feelings of exhaustion, cynicism, and a lack of accomplishment. It is totally ok if you are experiencing more than one of the feelings at the same time. Being able to fully align with your truth is a significant sign of strength. The ultimate goal of the podcast is to help women achieve Opting Out of Struggle.
