However, we do not have to continue punishing ourselves by setting unrealistic goals in our work and personal lives. The Black Girl Burnout podcast is dedicated to helping black women learn how to opt out of the mentality of struggle while also learning how to opt into a life of joy, abundance, and good health, which is their birthright. Burnout can manifest in a variety of ways, including feelings of exhaustion, cynicism, and a lack of accomplishment. It is totally ok if you are experiencing more than one of the feelings at the same time. Being able to fully align with your truth is a significant sign of strength.

EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS

Did you know that it is ok to let go of always needing to be perfect?  It is important to accept that “perfection” no longer needs to be the end goal. Instead, doing the best that you can with the resources and time allotted is a better goal to set. We are human, sometimes there will be challenges, and that is okay! In this community, we embrace strategies that allow us to work through the challenges so that we can still achieve our objectives. Let today be the day that you say NO MORE to all versions of the struggle.
