Are you checking in with yourself and literally asking yourself what brings you joy? If not, consider starting a practice of creating a narrative about what happiness and joy mean to you, at this stage in your life. This episode is for you if you are ready to learn how to embrace flexibility. Stay tuned til the end, to learn more about today’s homework assignment. You will be so glad that you did 🙂

The Black Girl Burnout podcast is dedicated to helping black women learn how to opt-out of the mentality of struggle while also learning how to opt-into the life of joy, abundance, and good health, which is their birthright. Burnout can manifest in a variety of ways, including feelings of exhaustion, cynicism, and a lack of accomplishment. It is totally ok if you are experiencing more than one of the feelings at the same time. Being able to fully align with your truth is a significant sign of strength. The ultimate goal of the podcast is to help women achieve Opting Out of Struggle.

Did you know that one of the  biggest things you can do to keep yourself out of a struggle is mindfulness. You have to really check in with yourself and ask yourself what brings me joy? Every single day ask yourself, how do you feel and what do you need? And when you are not feeling well then it lets you know that somewhere I’m out of alignment. Do self check in’s with yourself every day, like, am I happy in my current job? And remember, it is totally ok if the traditional 9 to 5 just doesn’t jive for you! Listen to yourself and follow your passion.
