The Black Girl Burnout podcast is dedicated to helping black women learn how to opt out of the mentality of struggle while also learning how to opt into a life of joy, abundance, and good health, which is their birthright. Burnout can manifest in a variety of ways, including feelings of exhaustion, cynicism, and a lack of accomplishment. It is totally ok if you are experiencing more than one of the feelings at the same time. Being able to fully align with your truth is a significant sign of strength.
We are all works in progress. I am not a fully formed human. I am not perfect. There are a lot of things about me that need work, but I really like myself and so one of the ways I make my home a sanctuary is by liking me first. Take time today and jot down 5 things that you like about yourself. Then, think of ways that you can bring more beauty into your home. Let today be the day that you say NO MORE to all versions of the struggle.
