EPISODE SUMMARY

In this episode, host Kelley Bonner discusses the importance of Opting Out of Over Apologizing.ย  Historically, for black people, apologies often exemplified ways to minimize discomfort for other people. This episode is for you if you would like to learn more about what to do instead of apologizing in your professional and personal lives. More, more, and still more is within your reach in 2023. Stay tuned til the end, to learn more about today’s homework assignment. You will be so glad that you did ๐Ÿ™‚

The Black Girl Burnout podcast is dedicated to helping black women learn how to opt out of the mentality of struggle while also learning how to opt into a life of joy, abundance, and good health, which is their birthright. Burnout can manifest in a variety of ways, including feelings of exhaustion, cynicism, and a lack of accomplishment. It is totally ok if you are experiencing more than one of the feelings at the same time. Being able to fully align with your truth is a significant sign of strength.

EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS

A good way to opt out of struggle is to just be who you are and live unapologetically. Being forward about what you think and how you feel doesn’t take away from other people who may have a difference of opinion. It just means that you have decided to stop explaining or apologizing for the decisions that you make. Let today be the day that you say NO MORE to all versions of the struggle.
