The Black Girl Burnout podcast is dedicated to helping black women learn how to opt out of the mentality of struggle while also learning how to opt into a life of joy, abundance, and good health, which is their birthright. Burnout can manifest in a variety of ways, including feelings of exhaustion, cynicism, and a lack of accomplishment. It is totally ok if you are experiencing more than one of the feelings at the same time. Being able to fully align with your truth is a significant sign of strength.
As Black Women we often don’t know how to be at peace or at rest. And that can lead to insomnia or sleep disturbances. It can lead to stomach problems and headaches. It can even result in unnecessary added strain on our relationships. Overstimulation almost always inevitably ends in a space of overwhelm. So, take some time to think about a “de-stressing” routine that works for you. Let today be the day that you say NO MORE to all versions of the struggle.
